‘Unfurl’ is made in bronze. I am interested in the theme of growth, ageing, decay and the environment. I made a 2-piece plaster mould of an orange. After deconstruction, I replaced part of it with textured wax, to reflect decaying compostable fruit peel, hopefully being returned to earth, adding nutrients to soil, enabling the cycle to restart - growth, ripening, ageing and decay…..
