Wonderful Potential

Drypoint Chine collé etching on Japanese Kozuke paper. Exploration of urban issues relating to abandoned buildings featuring The Wonderful Barn, Leixlip, Co. Kildare. Some of the buildings studied were undergoing restoration and have the potential to be "recycled", hence the inclusion of the chine collé element from an old phonebook page. Layout inspired by prints from other artists that use alternatively shaped printing plates compared to standard square or rectangular plates.
