Sea Surface

Oil on canvas. Under layer of poured primer and PVA top right to create texture underpainting of the underside of the sea surface and bubbles rising from the motion created by the swimmer. I wanted to create a sense of immersion and refracted light below the sea surface as the swimmer pulls with each stroke.
