A little too far

Can art be both disturbing, and attractive?
It is possible to construct, with beautiful materials, pieces that repulse or feel aggressive, and yet they’re still precious. In this body of work I achieve this by highlighting contrasts: if beauty can be smooth, easy, then its counterpart would be painful, complex, and very detailed. This then is “Uglify”.
